Dave, a look at the 928 Registry regarding the VIN says that this is actually a 94.

A look at the pictures in the eBay listing shows that the hood and headlight gaps are a little off. I wonder what that means.

IIRC, the Cup I wheels (as seen on this car), which were first used on the 928, were also used on the C2 Turbo; so a lot of people call them C2T wheels. In fact, the Borbet reproductions of the Cup I's that I got from Tire Rack for my '85 were labeled as C2T wheels.

Porsche then switched to the Cup II wheels later in the '94 928 model year.

I'd say that's about right price for that GTS, i mean come on. The car is literally a time machine. Just came off the line type condition. It should at LEAST be worth what it was bought for. Garage queen though, i would never buy this for the driving experience, only for the money return when 928's start to go for as much as old Lambo's/Ferarri's and a few thousand more get parted out and/or destroyed.

Looking at the registry, this is the 11th '94 sent to the U.S. Here's the page on the registry: http://928registry.org/1994-928/1994-928GTS-0071.htm

Per registry that's a good bump in GTS values (50k in 7 years!)

As to your pics question......no.

I would have though those list members had better things to do with their time.....obviously not. I don't see the big deal......it's just a cheap old Porsche, like pretty much all 928's.

I think certain people have far too much time on their hands.

Mainly yourself. You come off like one of the smug, uninformed folks I deal with on another forum. If your intent was to display ignorance, you have succeeded. If you don't own a 928 yet, I doubt you will be happy with one.

Hmmmm...another one.

What is it with you people and reading comprehension? Don't they teach that in schools there ?

If you'd bothered to put in 30 seconds research before shooting your mouth off you'd have seen my other thread about my 928.

So, bet you're feeling pretty small right now, eh son ?

There there, it's all part of the learning process.

Now, off you go, there's a good lad.

This is becoming tiresome.

I never feel small. Mine was a conditional statement, they teach us those. I have seen enough of your posts in this thread to last a life time and could not care to look.

sleep much?

Needless to say, I will not be purchasing anything from 928srus, ever.
And that makes me a very very happy person - my customers love the 928 and have a passion for it. They do not diss it.

You will be well looked after by the other 928 suppliers I am sure. Happy shopping!!!!

Adding you to my ignore list - first one ever - well done!!!

Your name is not Mason Fine by any chance is it?

Bye Bye

It's time to leave this thread to die in peace.

Nothing to see here now, move along.

Dude... get f*cked. Seriously. That was probably one of the most contradicting statements you have said. You ask Roger to "retract that comment"?? Really? You can't take what you dish out? Get the hell out of here man.

I bet it is Mason. I saw a bunch of his old posts when his business was melting down (a couple years ago) on Pelican and to quote him "...the gang bangers of the 928 world (who are all mega geek puzzies for sure- not ONE would EVER throw down, but all will chatter away )...".
