I have them also at 20K, however thinking of re-uping this year to 25K as the parts alone to bring a clean car up todate keeps going up.

I just put my car onto JCTaylor collector car (<25 yrs old) coverage. $25K agreed value, no deduct, all bells & whistles, $318 a year.

Per past threads on here am going to take a close look at the policy language about exactly what the 'agreed value' means. James Morrison uses JCT and they honored his very large loss from hitting a deer. Hope I never have to find out how it works!

Hope it works out for you.

The best scenario is to never need to file a claim.

Good luck.

I am about to purchase a 928 euro and got a quote from Farmers Insurance for minimal coverage, they called back and said they couldn't insure the car because it is 'gray market'. Sounds strange as the car has been registered, inpected and insured for 25 years in this country. Anyway will check with some of the other companies in this topic, any other suggested appreciated.

Tom, I was just going to add an update about this...prefect time and place to do it!

Got the car back today. They paid all $25k value to the collision company that did the work! No deductible and no questions asked! Would they do that again?! NO WAY! I think they realize they should have totaled the car. They had not clue how expensive these guys are to fix RIGHT! That is why I took it to the shop I took it to. The job they did on this car was astounding! Could it have been done cheaper? Yes...MUCH! Would it have an as long as you own the car warranty on the work...NO! Would it look this good? Not even close!

All I can say is I am SOOOO happy to be with JC Taylor and NOT have a totaled '95 GTS! The car is certainly better than it has been in 10 years! I should have it at 2nd Saturday GTG in Austin at Bone Daddy's tomorrow!

All this talk of agreed value insurance, but it is not available for a daily driver.

Where is the shop located?
Thank you
