Default What is Rob Edwards' New Avatar?

So I just noticed Rob's new avatar. My first thought was that it was a Boy Scout merit badge for boating until I noticed the skipper looks like Fred Flintstone in drag. That can't be right. So then I flipped the image upside down and it looks like a flying saucer breaking through the space / atmosphere barrier, yet again with Fred in drag hanging out the bottom.

Any other guesses before Rob chimes in with the answer?

Would that be 2 Foot power or 1 Fred power?

Or maybe add them together to get 3 FP.

It's so good to know that all is so well in the universe that we can concern ourselves with avatar roots.

And it's been a while since I was a cub scout. At that time there were no cub scout 'merit badges'. Not even for webbed feet under a ski boat.

I am an Eagle Scout with 3 Palms (so I had at least 36 merit badges, and I actually had EXACTLY 36), but I never did get that merit badge. If the woman pictured above had been teaching it I suspect I would have at least taken the class to get the badge...would have been VERY distracted though so might not have ever finished...the badge that is!

You guys are funny. But seriously, it looks like someone is thinking about putting a Bosch intake temperature sensor into a MAF housing. Oh wait, he changed it again, my bad. #2 vote for the aflack duck.
