NEW VIDEO. Rattle at idle still here after new starter.
PLEASE take a listen and let me know what you think.
The exhaust is tight and not hitting anywhere.
Heat shields are tight.
New starter so that is okay and tight.
Just released tension on the collar and re torqued.
All bolts on the fly wheel are tight.
The rattle is most evident when the car first starts and when its turned off.
I have heard bad torque tube bearings before and to me does not sound like this. In other words its not constant.
I am out of ideas...any feedback would help. Thanks in advance.

Yes I can hear the rattle at stop lights and while accelerating from stop. I can not hear it above say 20 MPH....Its like it stabilizes above a certain RPM.

I've heard TT failed/failing bearning whine, and also rattle. Kindof a marbly rattle.
Might want to put a.stethoscope on the TT and other places.

The rattle continues just slightly after the flywheel stops rotating, and didn't you say you could get it just by banging on the starter? Can you still do that?
I'm thinking loose heatshield or other loose part on the outside of the motor or its surroudings, like the crossmember. It sounds somewhat tinny, like a thin heatshield. Something loose sitting on the top of the bellhousing and vibrating as the engine vibrates.
Can you locate it more specifically with a piece of listening (heater) hose? If it's a TT bearing, a listening hose inserted in the TT end opening should locate that.
Note the flexplate is TWO sheets of steel, so it is possible for it to have a cracked arm in one sheet which could be hard to see. Feel the backside of the plate. I have seen one that had a broken arm (both sheets) and it only rattled briefly when the car was started or when you turned it off.

Does it often do it as you let off throttle?

So, Dean, I see in another thread
https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...t-rebuild.html
that you have concluded it's the TT bearings. Did the listening hose nail that down?

Yeah, hard to nail that down with the exhaust shielding in the way. If it's the front bearing, I would think a "listening hose" would nail it.
