Default OCIC tour of BG Products

I am trying to set up a tour of the BG products plant (and maybe some product demos) on the Friday of the 928OCIC in Wichita. How many people would be interested? Anyone??

Time is pretty much open right now, I think we can schedule it for any time Friday...probably after lunch? Before I can do too much though, I need to get some kind of rough number of warm bodies that might be rolling around the place so they know how to set things up.

It should be a decent tour though. BG has grown to be a pretty good sized place and they have a great R&D lab! They were still really small when I worked there part-time while I was in college and, and my mom was there for 22 years or something like that...

Possibly.

And... to save everyone the time of hunting it down: BG Products.

Friday is limited to getting the cars in the convention center and a meet and greet at 6:00 with dinner at 7:00, so you should be able to get lots of folks.

We had BG out doing induction cleaning at last year's Frenzy. Honestly I think we only had one guy not happy out of 25 customers, and I firmly believe that the cleaning revealed other problems with his car he didn't know he had.

When are you arriving in KC, Gary? You might be able to join a caravan to Wichita, although we haven't tried to organize anything yet. Actually, my wife and I have a rather small departure window: have a room in Wichita starting Thursday night, but also agreed to give a brief presentation at an event in the K.C. area early that evening (brilliant planning there ). Will probably leave at about 7:30 Thursday evening. Might cancel room and wait until Friday morning. Not sure yet.

Ed,

Our plane - United flt from Chicago - is due to arrive at KC airport at 11:44 AM. Probably at least 12:30 PM by the time we get a car and are on the way out of the airport.

Love to car pool with folks driving REAL cars if it might work out.

Cheers, and thanks for asking.

Depending on the time Friday, I would be interested. I and a buddy will be driving up Friday morning.
