Hey Bill, those dyno numbers, were they with or without the high-flow cats?
BTW, 'Freakinheat' was first to ask for my other one, so it's sold if he's happy with shipping arrangements and so forth. If for any reason he doesn't end up taking it, then I'll PM the next person who asked for it.

They were with that exact unit in this thread - with cats. I actually wanted one w/o cats, but this is all DEVEK had at the time. I paid over $700 for it. It did do the job, providing a substantial boost in power over the entire RPM range. At some points in the curve the gain 35 and at no point was it less than 30. And this was w/o any Sharktuning, just a bump in fuel pressure with an adjustable regulator as the AFR was a bit lean at points. I think either Louis Ott designed the crossover or it was a close copy of his design. The angle, position and amount of the Siamesed section is important. Other X-pipes with a true 90-degree straight X section are far less effective, but those being sold now for 928s, such as by Roger, for example, are very similar to Louis' design.

Now Joel... no swaying the judge.
The only fair thing is to go by PM receival times.
But... my car also has Porken chips and I already told her she was getting an x-pipe.
... you don't want to make a 928 cry do you? Where she gets the purple goo to spray all over the garage floor is beyond me...

I wouldn't expect any performance difference as they all use the same physics as far as I can tell.

I have one of Roger's now. I have not done before and after dynos, but the design is essentially the same as the old DEVEK (?Louis Ott), so I would expect similar results. In fact, I think I heard that Louis was involved with the design of the one Roger sells, having come from SLC Motorsports (Dave Lomas), if I'm not mistaken.
