I think it was really not so much the torque as the hp.

Not my handywork this time although I have broke this shaft before. This just came out of a parts car I bought. No idea what the story is.

Reminds me when I had a modded 93 GT Mustang with AOD - I installed a BBM shift kit / trq cnvrt and it snapped the input shaft not once but TWICE - clean and in half.
