I recall someone put an additional air-flow driven fuel cooler on their car towards the rear.. with fins etc.

Maybe George Sunnen? I think it was him who had fuel heating issues with his supercharged ORR car?

Yep, right, Hilton. We did that on George's car - the radiator style fuel cooler accomplished almost nothing. It still there, but I neglected to include it in my description above of fuel heating problem with his car.
