Does anybody have the breakdowns for auto vs 5-sp and any special additions, ie '89 S4 5-sp or '89 GT etc.
Just curious to see the rarity of each type of car.

My car must be extremely rare or a fake then - according to your data there were no 928 produced prior to 88

I think a little perspective is also in order.

Here is an example. Ford produced over 500,000 Mustangs in 1965 alone.

The popular 63-67 Corvette's there were 117,964 produced.

Nice site. Too bad new registrations can't be currently made due to technical difficulties. Looks like last update was ~Jan 2008.

actually, last update was January 2011. I commit that one way or the other it will be accepting new registrations again soon.

interesting! .....looks like some of the info from my site was used w/o credit nor permission. as far as I know, I was the very first to confirm the existance of just 406 GTS and the numbers by model year. Later, Rixter confirmed my number and broke it down further by color and trans. This information is published no where else on the internet that I am aware of and if it is, it's published in violation of copyright laws.

I thought Wiki sites were public domain... to add info at any time without verification nor sources required. Is that incorrect?
