I don't think they are full yet! Sign up here:

If you've never run at VIR, it is an outstanding track, with some long straights that let you stretch your legs.

Done deal! Watkins Glen and VIR where always my favorite tracks I had to drive on to help complete my bucket list. I hope I make it in!
What is their noise policy? Mufflers or open pipes!?

All of you who have never been on track with your 928 are simply missing out ! Just go do it. You will know what it feels like to be alive. You will learn just what a wonderful great handling SPORTS CAR the 928 really is. Forget all the GT gran tourism crap and go out and DRIVE ! You only under stand how well the 928 handles when you get it on a closed course and do repeated timed laps.

As far as I know, no restrictions. I've heard some very loud cars.

Most tracks noise is no problem Laguna Seca being the primary exception they only get a few loud days each year, their neighbors (rich and well connected) protested too much and prevailed

Jim,
I'm FINALLY doing it. Curt and Ed have been very helpful with my dumb noob questions and I think my car is ready this time. The planets have aligned. I'm taking my car up to Watkins Glen in the cool fall air to learn how to finally drive it the way it was meant to be driven.

Wooo hoo can't wait. You should see how many i have on the wait list, my green and white run groups were full a couple weeks ago guess its a popular event.

Mike you're gonna love it. I'll get us all in a garage near each other so we can swap stories and have a ball.

Its still open for anyone wanting to come as a guest. No timing allowed per PCA rules....... Or in other words, keep it to yourself as we don't time anyone.

Just picked up a GoPro Hero 2 HD Motorsports edition! Track wheels on the way (after a huge UPS shipping debacle that they are rectifying), new helmet in hand, car in the shop getting a few much needed fixes... hope that last part is done in time for the DE!!! Or I will be REALLY mad! Very excited for the upcoming weekend.

Hey Tim, what kind of camera were you using? I'm watching a few YT videos of different mounting locations, too. Right now I'm thinking the rear quarter glass on the driver's side on the exterior will be best; I've got another camera for internal use. And then I'll need to figure out some basic video editing...

Gentlemen, let me just say that my wife Colleen is AWESOME.

I thought I was gonna have to bail on this one at the last minute because I just found out my back tires are too bald to pass tech. (Porken, I'm looking you!)

Times are tough all over and a new set of back tires was not in the budget right now, especially with the cost of the rest of this trip piling up.

Anyway, I was really considering cutting my losses and just expecting this to be the most expensive t-shirt I ever bought, but she convinced me that I need to do this.

Tires will be here in two days, Porken v.4.0 chips will be here next week and the rest, will be pure adrenaline and driving for 4 straight days.

Curt! Save me a spot in the garage!!!
