Is this interior color combo original?
Trying to figure out what colors these are before I start replacing some of the worn areas. I think the seats and the middle of the doors are grey-beige, although the front seats are a darker, more grey color than the doors and the rest of the interior. The carpet looks like Champagne. However, the upper door trim doesn't match the middles of the doors - it has more brown in it and looks more like tan or cork. Hopefully this shows up in the pics. Any guesses?
Also, does anyone make replacement leather straps for the carpet that covers the box under the passenger side dash?
Thanks,
-Matt

Neither champagne nor silk grey were available at the time this 928 was built! That alone should rule out these colors. Aside from that - I suspect the color calibration of your monitors may be off.
This is grey-beige with brown.
There could be many potential reasons for color differences, including different materials (vinyl/leather), different aging of the materials, different care (e.g. someone might have just treated the front seats), or selective replacement.

Thanks for all the replies. I agree with Nicole - based on what PET shows available for an 86, and barring any replacement, grey-beige is the only leather color the seats/doors could be. At this point I'm trying to figure out if the upper window trim is some other color.
