I haven't done these yet .. I have the parts, but once I rebuilt the transmission lines the smoking stopped, and the leak is more of a weep from one side. Once it goes back up in the air for the MotorMounts and oil pan I will try to tackle this!
Glad to see others have .

Doing this now, what a bitch. Too many things in the way!!! The dremel was a great idea, used it!
But couldn't get it in on the inboard rear drivers side. Went low tech. Used a serrated kitchen knife to saw through the old retainer. Worked very well. Then tapped on the sawed plastic with a screwdriver and soft mallet. Broke off the edges and finally could get a wrench on it.
BTW, got to all of them from the top, I did have the valve covers off but probably didn't need to.
And although I have all kinds of offset wrenches and small sockets, ended up using plain combo wrenches.
Now to put the new ones back on. oh boy

Glad for the update. I have yet to tackle this job for fear of having a car down and my backup (Jeep) is getting front suspension work (Ball joints) so this will have to wait. Post pics if possible ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

UPDATE- These went in a lot easier than I thought they would...
One thing that helped quite a bit was to replace the bolts with ones that were slightly longer and adding a two washers, one a locking one. I was able to push these in, mostly with a lot of finger pressure, and if one was not quite in, a slight push with a breaker bar snugged them in tight! Worked with a regular combo wrench.
I am hoping I won't get that burning oil smell now, just got to back to the TB/WP work
