I think I have materials here to build 18 sets.

Shoot me a pm or email when you are ready.

Thanks
Hans

Hans,
One of the PO's of my car put some Kenwood speakers in the car. I believe they are 3.5" x 5.5".
Are your speakers going to work for me?
Thanks for any help,

These speakers are designed to go behind the perforated panel, so don't think they would be the best option in your case. I could make some more attractive baffles to mount on your door instead, and machine them for any number of speakers when I get a bit more free time.

Free time? How about mounting rings to put the 6.5s into 89+ ?

Those 89+ are the bane of my efforts. Easy to make (even have the solid models completed).... if we could find a way to sell a bunch of them. I would need to sell about 500 pairs to make them cost effective. One day....

wow; installed my set today - perfect fit inside my door. There were Kenmores in there from a PO prior install. These new speakers sound so much better. The fit is perfect as well. I used a foan rope and sealed them around the edges with duct tape over the foam. So they are seated well and foamed in. They are a great improvement. I'll have a much better view after driving to Frenzy next weekend.
Thank you Hans!

I should have taken pictures during the install. You can't see them because they are behind the perforation in the doors. Pure stock look.

Is there any chance this impressive solution might become available again if there is a significant financial commitment/order in advance?
