I'm selling my 1986 928S PORSCHE which is a 5 SPEED/ 2 door/ RED COUPE. The car runs great! There aren't any dents or scratches in/on the car. Very very good shape. The tires are also new along with the Porsche rims.

Highlights:
TIRE- DUNLOP SP SPORT 9090 225/40/ZR18
RIMS- PORSCHE CENTER CAPS
RIMS- ATP WHEELS (SPA) 18"

MILEAGE- 68,626

Features: A/C: Front, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Power Steering, Bucket Seats, Leather Interior, Power Seats, Alarm, Anti-Lock Brakes, CD Player, Premium Sound, Power Windows, Rear Window Defroster, Rear Window Wiper, Sunroof, tinted windows.

Garage kept. No accidents. Original paint. I've spent $10,000 in maintenance. Maintenance highlights: * Maintained by Arman's auto detail, Hollywood * New timing belt, water pump, pulleys, rotors, gaskets, seals, etc. * New high-end in-dash CD player, powered subwoofer * All plugs, plug wires, cap and rotors replaced with new * New engine hood liner * New floor mats * New brake shoes * All oil and filter changes, brake and coolant fluid flushes, inspections

Seller:
Justin
Hollywood, CA. 90038 ....."

He admits to spending $10,000 in maintenance not clear for what , I hope he owned it for more than a few years ! Not a bad asking price if it is a nice car and 68,000 miles but early 86 judging by the brakes.

Obviously we'd be doing a favor to the macro economy by taking ownership

That's what brought it to 10k in maintenance! I thought it was hood liner.

As opposed to the 4-door non-coupe 928's. Aaa... let's stop making fun of the guy and someone go look at the car for chrissake

Looks like he kept up on the maintenance, so good for him. Must be a gereration thing, but my dad would call them "shoes" too.

I think you’re right Brutus, he included the tires and rims to get to the $10K. Worse-cased prices and labor, I could see it..

- New timing belt, water pump, pulleys, rotors, gaskets, seals, etc. = $3K
- New high-end in-dash CD player, powered subwoofer = $1.5K
- All plugs, plug wires, cap and rotors replaced with new $750
- New engine hood liner = $200
- New floor mats = $100
- New brake shoes (if it was rotors too, that would add a lot) = $100
- All oil and filter changes, brake and coolant fluid flushes, inspections = depends on how long he’s had the car, but I could see this costing a couple grand over the course of like 5 years.

That's less than what I spent in the first two years of owning my beast...

Since I got the one from that Friday the 13th dealership, I'd say that my owner costs on this 86,000 mile car are quite dramatic, even as these go. Still, though, it will be done, someday. Someday soon.

Seriously - an awesome car. There's nothing quite like it, or even resembling it. Safe, too. They DON'T build anything like this now, or likely ever again will...
