Default Visor Retainers Keep Breaking

Are the black visor retainers (the clips that hold the front visors) especially cheap or is there something generally wrong with my visors (which would be odd)? IO have been through two sets and am not doing anything weird that I know of, I set them with the hole and pin aligned, and screw them in.

Any secrets? Junky aftermarket parts?

Jim M does a great job beefing them up and they can be purchased from Roger. T

By what do you mean? Roger sells a different part that actually holds up, or Roger sells the stock part and Jim M has a process for beefing them up?

I have broke a few in the six years I have owned my car. So I just wear dark sunglasses now and try not to un-clip the visors.

Hell I never unclipped them! Installed them, clipped in the visors. A few weeks a later they are broken. Sad.

yeah, seems like people used to driving american cars tend to pull the visor out rather than down. I filled up my last set with epoxy (in the hollow part). Held up so far

My visors are always down. Passenger side was broke when purchased, so I ordered a set from ebay. Two days later it broke again. Lovely.

We sell the upgraded visor clip made by Jim Mayzurk and guaranteed not to break $10 each.

I purchased mine from Roger (928rus) posted above. Indeed, fixed the issue. Thanks Roger.

Funny. Mine are still original and intact. But they broke on a buddy's car, so I replaced them for him. Less than a year later, they were broken again.
