A nice looking car at first glance. There are some things to note if you're interested. The carpet and floor matts seem to be missing. The trim along the side of the windshield on the drivers side is missing and the piece of trim along the inside of the front of the engine bay has TONS of overspray on it. It is supposed to be black but it's almost totally body color. There is also a bunch of additional wiring and fuses added into the engine bay. They have them running off of the jump post.

0000 tripodometer means odometer not working. Uncertain miles.

I just get excited any time I see a Pasha interior ;-)

Maybe it's not quite the survivor as described by seller (what? a seller adding excess "gloss" to their description? hahaha)

looking at the wear on the drivers seat piping the prior owners must have been sliding in and out of it all the time while it was in the "climate controlled garage" just for fun. No way this is a 7,800 mi car. Hood foam missing, cowl cover missing, rust on some bolts, Love how it is a "two owner" car and the seller got it from the second owner three years ago ??? funny math I guess he does not count as an owner ??

That's a lot of wear on the driver's bolster and seat for 8K miles.

I wonder if that's Danielle or Emily on the front page?

I agree. Looking at the pictures I was saying to myself. With only 7800 miles, I would expect the engine bay and interior to be in much better shape. Not a bad looking car, but I would bet the Odo hasn't worked in a long time.

No way it's a 7800 mile car. 78000 maybe. My 78 with 59k on the clock looks brand new compared to this car.
It may be a great car, but the gross and obvious misrepresentations in the ad make it all very suspect - no major modification and mostly original paint work? How about what looks like a total repaint by Earl Schieb? The overspray is horrible. The hacked wires at the jump post indicate maybe an after market alarm system, and who knows what nastiness lurks in the CE panel inside. The engine bay is very dirty, as is the interior (plus cracked dash). This car would need a good ppi before any consideration of buying it.

such a glowing description of the car...and then they photograph it dirty with no floor mats and some carpets missing.

I don't recall seeing too many 928s in Opal Metallic. From the pics it seems richer and more saturated than hellbronze?

Unmolested? Somebody not only molested it,but they stole the catalytic converter and made an abortion of the exhaust system!

Love the door jamb stickers with masking/paint lines. When does "touching up" paint include doing the jambs ???

I have a 79 US....everything in the ad is BS.......been painted....car is rough....
More like 78,000 and that is being generous......
I would only 'consider' this car, with absolutely no history, at $6500.00....maybe.......

My 79 with less than 70k is in better shape and it has been a dedicated track car for the past 20+ years.

After I looked at all the pics a couple of times I thought did they mix up these pics with another 928 or what!

The paint on the car just looks a little.....unoriginal...

Seems a little sketchy.
