Anyone using a Kicker 11HS8 Sub in a 928?
Kicker makes a small subwoofer - the 11HS8 - which is around 15x4x10 in dimensions. It is made to mount in weird places and I'm wondering if anyone has used one.
It also has a built in amp and crossover, so for someone like me dead-set on using a period-correct radio in the dash, this is handy. A final + is the remote bass connector, which I believe I will be able to connect to the drivers-side floor fader ****.
Thoughts? I am not certain 4" is enough to put it under a seat, but I could see it on the back of a flip-down seat without too much misery, and (like on my old Audi), it has straps so it can be removed if it gets in the way of flipping the seats.

Having a speaker on the back of the seat may lead to rattles in the seat mechanism...
Agree it is way too big for under the seat - you've obviously not taken them out..!

I looked at it, won't fit under seat. I ended up getting an 8" alpine and pioneer amp that both fit in the spare tire well. Or you could put the amp inside the wheel and sub in the hatch.
This cost me $400 and sounds amazing.

Stock amplifier is under the passenger side "console" or cover between passenger seat and passenger door
The early ones were small, and not very powerful, think they made a slightly beefier unit for later model cars. At least it had more channels...
Cheers!
