Afternoon all, to revive an old thread -

http://www.ebay.com/itm/121276235287?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D121276235287%26_rdc%3D1#ht_279wt_1363
I'd picked up a 928S a few months ago, and that blue Strosek or Gemballa (can't remember which it was on bring a trailer) peaked my interest.....came across this thread after seeing the car above on eBay...

Seems high price wise - thought it may be of interest!

Even I'm not that crazy!

So it would appear that all the Rennlisters DID have the "opportunity" to add this Strosek to their collection....and passed !

So this old thread is also about WP0JB0928KS860755 being for sale?

So the engine isn't original, and its basically sat for the last couple of years?

edit: oops, wrong thread. oh well, I won't bother reposting this in the other one - the seller might get angry.

I might be remembering that part wrong. I remember that the engine was in pieces at minimum. There were engine parts inside the car. It looks like someone has put it back together but it still wont start. Bid accordingly. I would have bought this car, even it's it sad state, if it had been an 5 speed. At the new high price I'm less enthusiastic but it is still a cool project for someone. Just not for me. I'm downsizing.
