Default 928 Greetings from 40,000 ft over Turkey

Well this is a little different- returning to the Mid East after a business trip to London- just had dinner now listening to Dire Straits in my business class seat on the Emirates A-380 Superjumbo and catching up with my rennlist reading on route to Dubai.

Wherever you are- hope you are enjoying your 928's- I will be trying to find out where my a/c gas has gone to tomorrow

Best wishes

Fred R [currently going much faster than anyone on this planet in a 928- current groundspeed 600 mph [good tail wind].

Question.... Since you brought this to my mind.

Hypothetically speaking here....

If you were flying your 928 over seas or really anywhere.... Would you rather sit in your 928 or in an airline seat?

How did you fit the 928 in business class? I know it is a jumbo but must have been expensive to reconfigure the plane.

You would be sitting in the worlds fastest traveling 928..... But you wouldn't be putting any miles on your car.

Pretty sure a few 928's were flown over on jets, nobody riding in them though.

Pretty circuitous route Fred - London-Dubai -Oman, via Turkey and passing over Bagdad ?

Sat in an Emirates cockpit into Dubai once, and watched it do an auto land......hands off by both pilots. Computer voice started calling the heights started at 100ft IIRC.
