Good call, James. Citroens were amazing cars. Supremely comfortable, aerodynamic (for the time), fast (once you got up there) and safe.

Particularly amazing for the '50's. Andre Citroen is in the same class as Porsche as an innovative engineer.

BTW, hydropneumatic not elastomeric. The latter was the original Mini.

The Citroën DS was manufactured and marketed by the French company Citroën from 1955 to 1975.
