There's a 1982 auto silver/black leather for sale in Gladstone, NJ. I drove it. No spoilers and it has 15" phone dials. Drives well, but has a punch list from hell. When I drove it, the tach and odometer were inop. No records for TB/WP, MM, OPG. A/C was working great at the time. Interior rear quarters are slightly warped. Slight shrinkage of leather dash around defroster vents. Slight 'spider' cracks in paint of hood. Thumb nail size chunk missing at rear where back glass meets the aluminum hatch frame. Their asking price is high but they have had the car for a long time. I test drove it back in November.

I'd say if you are looking for a good driver vs a more "collectible" 928 then '80-'82 is where you want to be if you are looking for the Original Body style...

I agree with you Joey, but oddly I have more S cars than anything else...ok, they are tied with GTS's!

You're in luck! US 80-82 are spoilerless (except competition optioned).

Does Richard (AZ) still have his '79 FS?

Deleted due to bastard comment. Why criticize when someone is trying to help?

It is a bastard child with an S4 rear wing and an S front spoiler...

Joey is looking for something with NO SPOILERS... ie an OB (Original Body).

You just missed an estate auction here in SF - 80 US auto with 39K always garaged and serviced. Sold immediately for $8500. I was a few hours late.
