Excellent!

Ship cheapest way - Postal is fine.

You can print a shipping label to tape on the outside of your box here:

Carl,

Are you still buying water pump cores?

Not at this time. I am deep in stock of them.

But, I'd say "hold on to it" as this will likely change.

Many have replaced their old and broken early radiator fan shrouds.

If you still have the broken shroud laying in your garage, there might be $20 in it.

I'm buying the cold air plastic "funnel" and metal bezel for $10 per set, $20 for both of them.

I'll pay for the shipping. You can print a shipping label here:
http://www.928motorsports.com/shipping/

Pics of the parts below. Note only early radiator fan shrouds have removable pieces - the late-model shrouds are molded-in and of no interest to me.

You can drill out the rivets and send the pieces, or if you don't want to, just sawzall that section of the shroud off and send the piece. We will remove the parts from the plastic when it gets here. Don't ship the whole shroud!

Looking to buy a bad 928 block for a customer who wants a coffee table. Can be a WBT failure, or a 4.5L motor, or have a badly gouged cylinder. No problem.

Will pay $120 for the block and will pay the freight o get it to me.

But it has to be quick.

I have an 89 TBF block I'd like to get rid of, but the crank gear is stuck on it right now, so I haven't been able to complete the disassembly. I'll try to take another stab at it in the next few days.

Thank you - that would do nicely.

Keep in mind I am not using the engine cradle for these coffee tables - so you could remove the oil pan, the rod bearing caps, pull the engine cradle, and the crank comes out with the crank gear still on it. Just a thought. I just want the upper engine. No rods, pistons, or crank. Ships in a box.

If you cannot disassemble it or don't want to, you can ship what you've got as-is. The shipping will cost me more with the heavy crank in it, so I will not pay you any more for it. Sorry.

Kevin, how "cracked" is that cracked cylinder? Got a picture?

I have been looking for a squirter block.

Good point about removing the cradle. I'll take a look at it this evening. Problem is, you're now making me think about a rolling garage version to match my garage seating... :-)

The crack is less then 2 inches long. The engine has less than 50k miles on it.

I actually have two - one suffered a broken timing belt. -I have not pulled the heads to inspect the block.

It is the hole on the driver side nearest the windshield. I was considering a sleeve, but that is pretty low on my priority list now.

Kevin, I would pay $150 for this squirter block with the crack in it, and $400 for a squirter block without a crack. Both of them must come with the engine cradle (not making end tables with those!)

Don - please let me know as soon as you can. I have a customer waiting. I have engine cores - but all are rebuildable and hate to see a good rebuildable core go to a coffee table.

Anybody else with a bad 928 block please chime in!

Carl,

I got the block split this evening, and the crank and pistons out. (what a messy job on a TBF engine, with all the sludge) Let me know the best way to package it. I may still have your account# from the last block I sent you.

Are you still looking for S4 oil pickups? I have one available now. Also have a waterpump core so let me know if you want it.
