Intake and cam covers: my colors
i just finished powder coating and hand painting my letters. The black is Harley Davidson Screamin Eagle black wrinkle and the red Is Farrari Red wrinkle.

Thanks, I did everything myself. Lots of prep work ! but it was worth it. I really like the colors and cant wait to put them back on... I was going to install the cam covers today, but I forgot that when I took them apart for stripping I broke the plastic cone that goes on the rear breather hose fitting. Does anyone know where I can get one of those asap? I'm doing flappy bearring in the mean time

Did you also replace the bearings for the throttle body were the TPS bolt to?
Also, make sure inside the intake is clear of any kind of media, if you used media blasting to prep it. several s4 engines have been destroyed by the owner not properly cleaning the left over media. You need high pressure water to get rid of the media if sand was used.
Did you drain the coolant before you took the intake off?
