1989 S4 928 AC Schematic for lines - Blowing cold again... fixed
I have a leak in my AC somewhere and we have not been able to find it with the green dye.
Does anyone have a good AC schematic for where all the lines go from front to rear?
I did look, but AC is a common word.

Have you checked at the seals in the fuel cooler, it's under the airbox and is typically wrapped in pipe foam.

Blast thanks for reminding ME of that one, I didn't swap those orings on my '87 yet.
spun_Cookie do you have rear AC in your car? There's a valve underneath the passenger seat on that setup.

The rear air has seals at the connection to the main piping, at the two bulkhead fittings where the lines pas through under the passenger seat, at that solenoid valve under the pass seat, where the two lines connect at the expansion valve, and the short connecting lines forward of the expansion valve.
Rear-air cars have a LOT of 'extra' places to leak.

Last summer I had 3 cars that had the line going from the drier to the expansion valve leak. It's a hard line from the expansion all the way along the firewall, along the passenger side until it gets to just below the jump post. At that point it goes to rubber and it leaks there. I'll tell you it is a huge pain in the *** to get that line out of the car, but test there for leaks also.

To your original question:
I have a copy of the "Porsche Parts & Technical Reference Catalog" dated 1999 for "Water Cooled 924, 944 and 928 Models 1977-1988". I think there's a copy of this catalog in the Morehouse CD set. On page 114 at the bottom of the page, there's a diagram that points out the hose and component, but specifically points to where every O-ring is in the front system.
