Has anyone had any experience with these tires? Was looking at Michelin PS2's and wondered how these compared in terms of noise/performance, etc. Thanks in advance,

"Hankook" means "Korea" in Korean.
Big tire company. Tends to make nice 'inexpensive' tires. Their cheaper tier tires are reliable as long as the ground temps are above 40 degrees or so. My brother has them on his 944. They seem good, however I think you will get more wear out of the Michelins.

Two cars, Hankook Ventus V12 evo's on both sets of wheels. About the best price/performance/wear combination. The V12 evo's are Summer performance tires. Not sure how they compare to the PS2's in wet or snow.

I hear the Mich's wear out much quicker, that's the cost of traction I guess. I was just looking at the same tires but ended up going with the Continental DW's instead. But if I had to choose it would probably be the v12 as most only get 10-15k out of the PS2's, especially the rears.

I've been running the Hankook Ventus V12 evo's for two years now. Almost 20K mile on three of them. Great tire as long as something doesn't get stuck in the sidewall.

I'm leaning towards the Ventus V12 also. Conti DW also in the running. I've got 18" Turbo Twist II, 8 and 10". I'd like to keep the widths somewhat close front to rear. 235/40 and 275/35. Anyone running these sizes?

Tire opinions are like elbows and ********. Everybody has one and knows one. With that said, I'll throw out my $0.02.
I have gone through many sets of tires on my 928. Some are better than others. I don't go for the cheapest, and I don't have the ducks to buy the Mich. Pilot PS2's which I think are the most expensive (and possible the best) tire out there for our cars. That said, I know a number of people who swear by their PS2's and will never consider anything else. I guess if money was not a consideration, then that's probably the tire to go with.
But since I know you and I know that money is still a consideration, I'll say that I absolutely love my Continental DW's. There is a DWS which is an All-Season, but I opted for the DW which is a summer tire and it has been spectacular. I can push the car much harder with predictability than I ever have before. The ride is quiet, and the tire wear so far has been exceptional. They are mid-priced - or at least were when I bought them a year ago - but have excellent handling and performance characteristics. That equals huge value in my book!

Have you done a search? Lots of discussion on this. Call me if I can help.
If you see a lot of rain, try the Hankook. If mostly dry than Sumitomo HTR Z III....both great price point tires.

I don't get anything like 15K from a set of PS2's rears - 10K if I am lucky... However they do really stick.
I agee with Andrew these aren't even worth comparing - they are different animals. I think you need to determine the top criteria for you - maybe its performance, maybe its noise, maybe instantaneous price, maybe $value (wear & price), maybe its ride comfort. Once you figure that out its easy to select what looks best for your needs out of what is available thet will fit.
PS2's just aren't going to look good on price or on $value - that isn't what they are all about...
Now only if you value performance above everything they start to look more interesting - but with a high cost of entry and all too quick renewal cycle...

Got PS2's on the Polecat, only tires that are big enough to fit the rim width. Very sticky, lucky to get 8K out of the rears, maybe 12 out of front set. "EXPENSIVE"
