I've done a lot of work on this one and consider it to be in fantastic shape.

Um... I'd say "Blue 82" is a little bit out of the question then...

All you will get is a basket case S4 for that kind of money... I'd be looking for an OB.

Yeah I heard it's a really good deal too.

But seriously, Risaac you need to give everyone an idea of what you're after. 928's were made for nearly two decades and the feel and look varied significantly from the early years to the later years. Be clear on what you want including mileage, mechanical condition, year range and cometic condition.

Yea, you could add a "0" to the end of that and STILL not be close to buying BLU82!

Well, 4k for a early 928....not looking for the perfect car. Maybe an early S4....dont want to pay no more than 4-6k. Auto/Stick dont matter.

An 87 S4 for $6k even would scare me off... That would be one rough car in need of probably $3k to $5k in service and probably paint and much interior work as well! It would be $15k away from being a $13k car... not to mention the cost of the car in the first place.

If you are in the $4k to $6k range I would suggest a decent running and driving 81-84 are in your budget... they won't be all that pretty though...
