Default Manual trans removal without torque tube attached?

Can the trans be jacked up enough to clear the X-member if it is not connected to the torque tube?

No.

The crossmember has to be released from the body to get the tranny in. The TT can stay put. You can get the crossmember low enough with the front mount of the lower A-arm attached but the upper A-arm and shocks need to be disconnected.

At least don't have to drop the whole rear end. The chevy motor with renegade hybrid conversion was sold and pulled this morning. Because of that there is no bellhousing and I want to get the trans off in the easiest way.
