Any idea how they cut that? I thought windshield glass was supposed to fracture into millions of pieces?

Windscreens have a plastic liner in the center...they cut rather nicely with a saw.

I spent a couple days looking for a replament pannel for one of the cars being brought back here, the PO had had a sunroof out of a ford excort installed in his 78euro (yuck)not sure who did the install but they must have been drunk when they did it, it was almost an inch out of square ffs. It was way to nasty to try to fix so I had to cut out the mess and replace the pannel I made some templates from another 928 and headed to the local bone yard. I found that the removable hard top from a toyota celica from the 80s fits perfect and you don't have to cut it out of the car just take the out 4 allen head screws and its off. I have pics if anyone wants .
