Default 1964 Dodge Dart equals 928 parts

I was doing some business a few weeks back and I spied this Dodge Dart in the neibors shed. Ended up buying for $900. Any profit I make on it I am spending on the 928. I already spent $900 bucks for new wheels so at this point I need to get at least a $1800 out of it. I am hoping to get somewhere between 2k and 3k though and add some more goodies for the 928. It only has 41k on it and the interior is like new.

Hey I just bought a new parts getter that color. Mines a 1970 Datsun that I drove 400 miles home.

Is the Dart a push button automatic? What size engine is in it?

I believe the Dart had the nick name of Vomit. Or I believe it was it's twin the Vallient.

Thanks Thomas,
I've been driving it a lot lately. 4 wheel non assisted drum brakes take some getting use to.

Hey now, stop picking on the little Dart. It has feelings too.

That's a nice little truck Mark. The Dart has the push button tranny. Really it is a pretty cool little car with the slant six that is suppose to get very good miliage.

My first car was a 64 dart GT. 273 with a hemi 4 sp. Not fast enough so I stuffed a 383 in it with a dana 60. A true sleeper. Even kept those little ash tray hub caps.

'66 FJ40, so that little Datsun is a piece of cake!! Bet you even have single wheel cylinders to adjust, instead of the PITA duals - top 3 clicks, bottom 3 clicks, spin wheel...top 3 clicks, bottom 3 clicks, spin wheel....

My grandmother had a Dodge Dart that became my car briefly in HS before my brother took it. It had the shifter on the steering column. That thing was so slow.

Clean and polish it up, and market it in Europe.

Ive seen classic old American cars go for _bank_ over there.

Somebody from Mexico did the buy it now for $3600 on Ebay. I really was'nt ready to sell it yet because it will take a little while yet to get the title and I did put that in the Ebay description. The guy does not have any feedback but we will see. Oh well, if it doe'snt work out with this one the car should still make a descent profit when I have the new title in hand. It had a lot of people watching it. It looks like the 928 is going to be very happy this spring.

I had a Datsun just like that one, only a yellowish-white color. Bought it off a 5'-3" Japanese man, I am 6'-1".
The. Most. Uncomfortable. Vehicle. Ever.
