I'm 6'8" with a 36" inseam, and fit nice with 1.5" headroom in mine - no sunroof, and manual seats. Have not played with the throttle pedal position or steering wheel extension yet.

I'm 6' 4.5" with 34 inseam - my OB with sunroof and power seats fits me like a glove. If I was .25" taller it would be a no-go. I have the seat bottom about 2 inches from 'all the way back' and seat back raked a bit.

I must admit it would be nice to have a little more interior room and am considering a manual driver's seat.

Good luck, hope you find your way into a 928!

I am also 6'4" but I have a 37" inseam! I feel your pain. One simple item that is constantly overlooked is the fact that many of us sit too far back from the steering wheel. The other options are switching to track type seats if that is the direction you want to take the vehicle. That will give you enough head room. I installed the extended hub and added track seats and solved my problem when I was wearing a helmet on the track. The track seats also allowed me to get closer into the steering wheel, where before the hub, my arms were almost straight out.

I'm 6'5". Don't know my inseam but most of my height is in my torso. I can get by with a sunroof car but it is not super great. On my '82 I modified the seat brackets. They are an upside down U that is welded to the floor. I cut off the top 1.5" and bolted in some milled alloy parts. Worked out great. IMO if you need more head room I would start with this rather than doing the sunroof delete or modding the seat itself.

I gained 1.5" with track seats. 6'1" with 34" inseam and I had 1.5"+ from my head to the roof after doing the seats.
