based on the pics and the unknowns - and the current bid price and where it's going, do you think it's safe to buy without a PPI?

Drive there and go buy it. If you don't, I'm going to believe you're really just masturbating and not serious about wanting a.nice.928 at a good price.

I think this car is worth a closer look. If Kang is serious, I'll go have a look at it with him. I live about twenty minutes away from Ventura.

Give me a shout if you're serious Kang.

BUMPETY Bump!!!

What the heck??!! $12.6K with a burn victim hood liner and didn't hit reserve?

This is my dream 928, 6 months younger with about 60K less miles and a black interior. But 1/3 more than a Charlie car? I just don't get it.

He has it relisted at $15,900 obo. He's going to need a better write-up to get near that price.
Makes NO mention of any service records or how well, or even if, the vehicle runs.
5 owners over 36K miles.
I still think it's worth a closer look, but only if the seller gets realistic about his price. Deferred maintenance seems almost certain on this ride based on the story the seller paints.

I'm tellin' ya. These cars are gonna experience a long-awaited market adjustment towards their real value. Glad I got mine when I did (whew).
