I find it interesting that the hood liner is in such poor shape. My 86.5 had 250K miles when I sold it and the hood liner was still 95% intact...well aged, but intact.
I wonder if this would fit the bill for what Mark A. is looking to grab?

No car is safe to buy without a ppi - you just don't know what you are getting into otherwise.

Agreed. Seems unlikely one would maintain the car that meticulously and not notice the liner.
