I would sure check with Roger at 928srus as well. I am just about sure they have them and will get you the right ones.

This is how I would go, rather than have injectors cleaned. You can buy them online from ebay or many other places and they are better than stock.

Thanks Matt,

I was having a brain fart on the size of injectors.

Or, if you're looking for a fun hobby, you can do it yourself with a spare fuel pump, a jump start box, a push button switch, a pan of b12 chemtool and a Mustang injector rebuild kit from ebay, but after doing it that way, I'd say it's not worth the hassle.

. . . Plus, if you do it sitting on the floor and overpressure the pump, spraying b12 chemtool down into your shoes and socks, it burns like crazy for a good 10 minutes. Don't ask how I know.

You can get a set of Ford Racing injectors for about the same price. 4 hole, brand new and they drop right in.

I'm not a fan of refurbing injectors. I think they're a wear item that are cheap enough to replace that it doesn't make sense to hang on to the old ones.
Edit: Guess I took too long to post.

Check BlueOvalRacing. It's where I got mine. I don't think Roger has these because he can't get them any cheaper than they sell them for.

I thought the S3s were 24 lb injectors though. I don't remember.
Agreed and pretty sure you're right on the s3's. I know they're bigger than the s4's.

I did the homemade cleaning myself. It was actually kind of fun but then I got smart with the help of good advice here and got the Fords.

Default 928 Injector Service

The chart below reflects my experience with "injector cleaning." It resolved the problem (missing, stumbling, poor performance) completely.

For '85/'86 the injectors are 24lb/hour, high impedence.

It seems as though Ford has discontinued their 19lb/hr injectors, and their 24lb/hour injectors now have what's called a USCAR connector. They sell a USCAR to Bosch adapter. This info is from the Ford Racing Catalog.

I checked Summit and Jegs. The smallest Ford Racing injector from Summit is 30lb/hour.
Jegs carries the 24lb/hour injector with the USCAR connector for $189. For this you have to buy the adapters which are $40 for a set of 8. While it sucks to have to use adapters, the price is pretty good.

Fiveohmotorsport has the 19lb/hour injectors available for $289. They have gray tops. Never seen ones that look like this. The 24lb/hour injectors are also available for $320 for Ford/Bosch. They also carry Denso 24lb/hour injectors for $235. If I needed injectors, I'd take a crack at the Densos because that's the kind of **** I like to try to get away with.
