Thank you, That gives me a great list to start with. I will call wizzards and get a qoute on what I need. How essential is the controllor on a 75 shot, if it adds safety it might be well worth the money. I would like to set up a system that I could do a quick changeover between the 928 and 968. Also at what temp F' do you consider cold weather that I would need a blanket? One last question, will I be able to hide all this under the hood. I would love to keep the stock look as much as possible.

You dont NEED a controller (Maxx Extreme) with a 75 shot...BUT nitrous is very addictive and if you decide you like it (you will...lol) and decide to go up to 100 or 150 shot then yes you will need one for smoothness...
Temperature that requires a heater blanket....anything below 80 F ...
Hiding is no problem on a 928, behind the airbox is the favourite place on the firewall for the Pulsoids.
Mention my name when you order as it may well help with the price
All the best Brett

So the cost of the nitrous ends up being up near $45 per minute of full throttle time. In other words, $450 for 10 minutes, and $2,700 per hour.

You are looking at it in the wrong way...
Nitrous is ONLY ever used under FULL THROTTLE...
How many minutes have you had your 928 under FULL (not part) throttle lately.... not many I would bet..

That is one way to look at it but I can only think of maybe 8 times I was at full throttle last year. So for either 0-60 runs or 80-120 runs that is around 10 to 12 runs for about 50 bucks a year for me. I consider full throttle something that should be used sparingly. Like only a few times a month at the most. The rest of the time I just cruise around happy knowing what the car is capable of if I choose to.

One thing that keeps me in line is my exhaust. It is quite an event to open my car up at full throttle. Since I cruise mostly within 5 miles of city limits later in the day or evening, it would not be hard for the cops to track me down if I am stepping on it all the time. I never put my free flow exhaust on with purpose in mind, but I have to say the car gets babied more because of it.

Hehe, you have the same problem as me, my exhaust for the huge amount of Nitrous I run is almost non existant....think 130 plus decibels at over 6000 revs.....
When I boot it on Nitrous I suspect people can hear me several miles away
Fun though
