BS. He's asking 18k. On trade he'll get maybe 2 or 3k if he's lucky.

Oh...now that I have had a little time to think about it, I talked to a friend from the 928OC about this car at length a month or two ago. I guess he didn't get the car... You know this person I spoke to Mark he already has a nice 928 of his own but this one caught his eye.

Very good...probably talking about the same person I suspect. Neat car and he is not to far above true market value at $18k IMHO...

I think it's an amazing car. IMHO... Anyone who poopoos a 16v just hasn't driven them enough. The original design rotates in corners better and feels more balanced. Sure the evolved cars are great, but the OB was great first. I'd say it's worth $18K easy...

Brad (tilac999) and I were thinking of laying eyes on it. Maybe we can get over there this weekend to take a look. We're not in the market, just interested in seeing it.
Thanks Brian. Saved me some time.

Offer him 125% of what the dealer offers for the trade-in. Or double.

More of a free floating conversation at this point drifting between cars and threads. I think Mark is keeping track, the rest of us just add bits from time to time.

Looks like Prussian Blue. I love that color. Just like mine but mine is a respray. I think that 928 deserves an owner in Anaheim.

I've got a call into Jerry on the 85 euro and will post what I find out. Having a pair of local eyes would be awesome.
