I have modified the packaging a little, have added a details card and the tap is directly labelled per previous suggestions. Until now the original box has just been reused. Time for a new one - packing is holding up well though!!

Not sure if you need this ? - go out & see if you can remove your front towing eye bung - don't wait till you need it in an emergency...!

Just a note here - since 2/7 when this first shipped out - we've had six 928's get repaired in just over 2 months!! great going, rather faster than I expected - largely because we've had 2 case of 2 getting repaired for one shipment - efficient!!

If you are on the list and have local 928 buddies ask them if they need this - and if they don't know - have them check...

I have been working (playing?) on Dan's green car this week- literally as we were looking at Dan's seized tow plug, I got an e-mail from Joe saying that the tap was in town and did I need it? Picked it up the next day, and liberated Dan's old plug. Joe suggested a 21/32" drill bit- that plus a die grinder with a cylinder-shaped carbide burr plus the tap (and liberal cutting oil) worked a charm:

Just to easy, I got home from work on Monday to find the tool
had arrived, opened it, 10-min later I was done.
All the work was in prepping the hole, I predrilled with a 21/32
That left the remaining material paper thin, the tap blew right
through it.

I got the tap but the hex key is broken off the front cap. Now what what to do?

Do you mean an allen key is broken off in the plug?

Is it broken ~flush with the surface?, can you grab it to wiggle it out (lubricate it first) ...
