The 928-S4 rear rotors are the exact same as the '86 951 rear rotors (299 x 24) so an inexpensive matching Wilwood set up for the rears is coming to fruition. The Dynapro's are the perfect match as the pads are bigger than the front Turbo calipers and a 1.25" piston caliper would match the factory M.C. nicely.....

Hey Ed, The rear 944/Wilwood adapter I designed should fit the 928S perfectly as 951 calipers mount to 928 arms with S4 rear rotors. Did you get a pic of the mount tabs/S4 rotors yet?
I tried the smallest wheel of the 944 EARLY 15" Phone dial and it clears this setup without spacers....

Thanks again to Raymon. Mocked these Dynapro radials up to his 86T 300mm rear discs. Only person I know that has every 944 wheel on hand. I guess you need to when you have 5 P-cars at your disposal. Anyways the 15" phonies (1st pic) clear better than the 16" Fuchs (3rd pic) which has 2mm clearance on the inner wheel well.....16" Early wheel (2nd pic) tons clearance........ all pics are with NO spacers. The Wilwood Dynapro is more compact than the 951 caliper and has the correct piston size availability to match the Factory M.C. and more surface area on the pads to boot

I'll get it to you tomorrow. I've been working too much and dealing with "wedding plans". But I'm excited about the conversion!

Congrats on the new life ahead of you Ed. Just remember not to mention those two evil words that wives hate to hear....car upgrades.

Just check the trailing arm caliper mounting dims against these.... What I'm most interested in is the arm curvature dimension in relation to the axial bolts that go thru the adapter. I'll CNC the curve with as much clearance as possible....

Do all 928 rear hubs/bearing carriers have the hand brake line boss here? Best reference pic I could find of the clearance dim I was looking for....

I put on the S4 rotor and measured everything that you had listed. Essentially the same specs, and the rear hand brake line boss is the same as your picture, the flared base crosses over the centerline.
Also, thanks for the Congratualtions, it's my daughter's, Erin's wedding that is upcoming. (I'm waiting till I finish paying alimony!)

Alright, that 2nd pic is great. I'll still have a solid 0.50" thick bracket wall after recessing that area. Thanks and congrats on the kid getting hitched as well.

I finished a large run of these Wilwood Dynapro adapters as they fit the 944,951,968, and of course the 928 with an S4 rear rotor.

As soon as I get a pre-928S spindle/hub I will build The front Wilwood Superlite-Cayenne 330 adapters for them also.

Robert, Hopefully, Just Peachy (80 non S) will be back from paint next week. I can then send you a front corner, spindle/hub then. One side is all you need-correct? 77Tony

I'll need one spindle/hub if someone has one to donate for science. I'm hoping the same adapter can be drilled for the early caliper/spindle mount spacing. I'm assuming 76.25mm just like the early 944?

Robert, I can send a corner up off of the 79 that's trashed. You can have your way with it. T

O.K.
For future reference, do me a favor and measure (best possible) what is the distance between inner phone dial face/sweep to outer rotor face/sweep. Thanks Tony.
