Default 32 Ventiler

I was thinking today that S3's do not have any identifying marks on the car that differentiate it from other "S" model years - at least as far as I know. I was also thinking about what would be a good model designate which also might look nice in on the car in the right place.

Anyway, 16V 944's (sans the 968) had 16 Ventiler along the rub strip line (below). Since I do not have rub strips, I was thinking that maybe a well placed 32 Ventiler decal might look nice somewhere on the car with the below font.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I don't get it, then again I wish the back bumper didn't say "PORSCHE".

I've seen 'valve' translated as "plate".
That has fewer letters so you could make it larger!

A long long time ago...

There was this dude on an island somewhere in a foreign country...

That made some custom vinyl graffics...

I bought some of those that said -> 928 S3 to replace the 928S on the rear bumper cover.

He designed them after the Euro 928 S2 letters and numbers

32 plates may look weird.

I just don't like decals, stickers, logo's etc... Just a crest on the hood please.

I've de-badged most of my cars. I really don't care if someone doesn't know what I'm driving.

I dunno, adding any kind of notification about the car reminds me of 80's GM vehicles when they were so proud to put "EFI" and "ABS" on the trunk lids of every car. Better yet the make / model plastered across the windshield.

One of the many reasons I purchased the 944S that I did was no rub strips or "16 Ventiler" on the side......

It's even better than that. In the early 80s some GM cars had "OHV"

To Hacker:
Shut up, you purist dog you ;-) LOL!!! Hey I knew someone with FERRARI crests on his 928's front fenders!!!!! Anyway, I'm with you. Fewer badges == better. I must say I do love what Michael came up with for the S4's and I badged Godzilla accordingly. The stock lettering is lackluster. Same with GTS, yawn.

I was hot to have one of these made a few years ago. 10~20mm tall sticker, which I'd put on the right side of the hatch, under the spoiler. S'pose it would look OK on the front fender, where the euro turn signal would be, too.

I know you're not a purist Hacker.

Granted, EFI and ABS were really annoying, but this idea was more about model recognition than highlighting how many valves/plates .

It's not like I have a gutless 16 valver with a 32v sticker on it or anything
