Yeah, the radiators and intake must have been impressive with all that dirt. I wonder how the cattle guard at 2:28 felt in the car. Be interesting to see how they set up the suspension for all of that, not sure there's a 'dirt track' setting for RBR F1 chassis....

Is there still plans for a 928 gathering that week//end? I plan on heading out there but need some options because I'll barely afford the drive + tickets to the race.

I really hope Austin goes ahead. The track looks like being a beauty, completely unlike the horrid new tracks Formula One has been reduced to driving on over the last 15 years...
As for the car turning into a POS after the run, probably, but I`ll bet the parts were at their end of their life anyway and Red Bull has truck loads of them to use up... Red Bull do a lot of this kind of thing, and the other teams could well take a leaf out of their book.

When they do that with their race cars, I can guarantee it is an older, out-of-date chassis/car that is no longer raced and basically used for "Show" anyway.

Cool video. If that's one of Coulthard's actual cars, it'd have to be several years old since he retired in 2008.
Used to love watching him & Schumacher battle back in the day. One of my fav. F1 moments was when Schumacher passed Coulthard closely & received a middle finger in protest from Coulthard. The announcer quipped something like, "....and Coulthard gives Schumacher a 'One Finger Salute' as he goes by".

Wouldn't it would be great if there was a die-hard 928'er in Austin, who had a bit of property there, and a big barn, who would allow a group of fellow 928'ers to come and spend a few days up there, to use as a base camp for the event?
Imagine how fun that would be!
