I heard through the grape vine that 928 intl. was making keys from the original at Sharktoberfest for 30 dollars? Is this true?

Just received my 968 keys from keysinthepost.com & they both work great, in the doors & ignition. Received within 2 wks. of my order. Very happy now to have 2 spares for under $20, including international shipping.

I just got my key cut from Keysinthepost.com; they cut it from a digital photo of my spare one; greatservice but I must say that the profile of the copy is very different from the master. I was even suspicious that it could not work at all but once I tried it I was suprised and half-happy. It did work on the door locks and on the starter but it did not work AT ALL on the boot lock. As said the profile of the cut key loks quite different from the master and I have asked Ben at Keysinthepost if they want to try and re-do the copy.

I used Keysinthepost last year. The first key had problems, but Ben made me a new one for free and it works well. He mentioned that his machine had been having alignment issues before.

One final update from me as I did manage to get the key cut by keysinthepost.com to work nicely on all locks, including the boot lock; it only took a bit of Molykote Multigliss to lubricate the key entry and let it go that final bit to get it turning and operating regularly. Thanks to Benatkeysinthepost for the good service and the prompt support.

Thanks for the post guys. Got my two replacements in the mail today from keysinthepost.com. They both work perfectly! Not bad for $55 shipped.

Together with the key copy form Keysinthepost I got the replacement key head (with the battery powered light) to have the roken one on my old key replaced. According to the instructions the old key head should split apart to allow you to change the battery for
the torch. Apparently, once split it apart, there is a sprung loaded plunger which you need to pull back (I found it and I removed the sprung, and then you should be able to slide the blade out of the head. My key blade seems to be tightly stuck to the plastic head and there is no chance to get it removed. Any hints, other than braling it into pieces with a good hammer?
