Default Need paint code for Guards Red
Hello all,

I need the paint code for Porsche Guards Red. Not even sure if that is the right spelling.

Exterior paint codes are listed in WSM Vol 5, Section 66. For '87 onward...

Guards red: 80K

Barry has it right - same as the label on the door jamb of my cars

(actually the labels say L80K - but from memory last time I asked in a paint shop they found it under 80K).

Glasurit has the color code for Guards Red (Indischrot) as 027 for 1973-1987, and 84A from 1994-2012. LINK

I believe the internal code at Porsche was G8.

which in theory can also be "india red" depending on year
