Default Pics of Header-X installed

Just got some good pictures of our stainless-steel Header-X installed.

We provide adapters so the Header-X will mate up to the stock exhaust from cats back, or, like in these photos, it mates up direct to our Performance Exhaust system or the Motorsport SS dual exhaust.

Enjoy the pics.

The car in the Pics is a 1991.

Yes, these are specifically designed to fit MSDS 32v headers. Read full product description here:
http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/headerxpipe.php

The cross-over at the rear is a) where Porsche put it, and b) so you can run one pipe under each of the humps in the rear cross-member for the transaxle, as designed. These pipes are 2.75" - larger than stock - so you cannot put them on one side without loosing ground clearance.

Carl I think what S4ordie means is that in the bottom picture;
the top resonator attaches to the bottom of the muffler and the bottom resonator attaches to the top of the muffler. If I understand him correctly. crossed.

is this due to pipe diameter

Oh. Got it. That design allowed for smoother, more gradual bends. Larger radius for less restriction.

Correct. I was not clear Carl. Less radius is good.

Seems like it would have been straighter if you had flipped the driver's side muffler over. That way the exit would have been a straighter connection to the drivers side of the last muffler. Also would have meant a more direct connection from the passenger side muffler to the rear muffler without having to cross the pipes. Would also reduce how far down the pipes need to hang to get connected to the rear muffler.

Dan: You can't flip the driver side resonator and go straight to the muffler - it would be obstructed by the lower control arm link. And although not having the passenger side pipe cross under the driver side would raise that pipe, it's probably not the lowest hanging undercarraige part anyway.
