paint colour question
Am having a full body respray with deleted side trims and the car exterior is now back to bare metal with trim holes welded up and is just about ready for paint.
The original colour is Taubenblau (Baltic blue) but I would really like it to be a shade more blue.
The car accessory shop aerosols for Taubenblau are perfect but I can’t match that shade at a bodyshop even using a scanner and I don’t really want to change it so much that I have to redo the shuts or the rest of the interior.
So! I was wondering if anyone had a code that gave a slightly more bluish tinge or know whether a different colour undercoat (from grey) would make any difference?
Am sure the purists will say stick to the original but as I plan to be buried with the beast I might as well have it the shade I like.

Earlier this year there was a really good thread showing different colors of 928's. Here is the link:

Thanks guys. I actually got aerosols made up of Petrol and Prussian blue but they look nothing like the photos of actual cars. maybe its just an aerosol thing. ok ill **** the bodyshop off some more and ask them to knock up some more proper sample cards.
Midnight blue is stunning but unfortunately means too much work inside the car.
