All 928 Colors Thread- post a pic plus description of color
A new thread: I will post a color and people post up pics of 928s in that color. Every morning someone posts a new color, there are really a ton of them and it would be a lot of fun to see 928s that way.

Great idea for a post
I can't figure out if my car has custom paint from the factory. It does not have a paint code anywhere and as much as I can figure the color is "Tin" or "Platinum". But my car was built in Feb '80 and at that time this color was not offered
It appears that this color was offered for the first time in '81.
It has been re-sprayed by the PO but only to the edge of the door sills. The engine bay and under the seats etc all match. I understand if it was built after September '80 it would have been an '81 and this color would be correct.

The 928s in this thread (928 color of the day) were all to be Amazon Green.

Your day WAS and IS coming! I think about your rasberry red GTS on a daily basis. Make sure you have a bunch of pics. Rasberry red is next monday. I have this all planned out...
