Default 18" rims recommendations forfor 91 S4

Cant find tires for my d90 16" rims so I am looking for some 18" rims so I've got more tire choices. however I am struggling to find manufacturers that make them to fit 928s with staggered set up. Suggestions that won't break the bank?

Panamera wheels are a good choice. ...And many more I'm sure.

Get as close as possible as stock offset.
Nice choise there!
Good luck and let us know what you will find.

Like Bertrand said..

I just bought a set from a Panamera. Cheap also

You can also check for Cup II 17" wheels from a 993. Still a good choice of tires available.

Everyone seems to like the MY02 and Carrera III wheels. I'm not huge on te front offset on my MY02 set thought.

I'll be ordering wheels from CCW or Fikse next year.

I have these and the 996 C4S rims. Dan's gorgeous 928S4, not mine.

And another nice choice on a beautiful 86.5 just behind :-) (I only paid $500 for the set, but I don't think that deal is available anymore.

To the original poster, I think you should sell that ragged out 91 very cheap to an enthusiast in your area.... you are only going to have more fustrations like this tire thing, for years to come. Better to cut your losses now :-)

The Bridgestone rep at the PCA Palooza last weekend said Bridgestone is bringing the correct 16" size for the rears back. There is enough demand from the 930 crowd that Bridgestone is going to try and fill the gap.

The CIII's are from the 997's and have THE BEST offset of any of the 911 wheels...I prefer the look of the CLW's though...not as good an offset.

Already know where my CLW's are headed once I'm done with them too. A dark blue S4 perhaps?

Any idea if it'll be a Falken branded tire or some other Bridgestone line?

CIIIs here in 8 and 10x18. I have 265s in the back with a 20mm spacer, although they look fine w/o the spacer. Not much room there, but the GT has almost no lip to rub on. 11x18s will fit as well.

Front offset is the problem- cheaper wheel sets generally do not have anywhere near the correct spec but they will fit.

If you have a garage queen or do not corner hard then a reduced front offset is not a problem for most on road scenarios. Porsche OEM wheels are generally very strong. Not sure what offset Panamera and Cayennes run but I believe some have reasonable offsets. For a stock look the 17 inch Speedline 9 1/2 inch with 65 offset is a nice alternative if you can get them. Otherwise you are into 3 piece forged with custom offsets and $5k a set without rubber.

Regards

Fred

I'm picking up my 17" speed lines in Buffalo tomorrow.

8X17 fronts ET 56.7 and 9X17 rears ET 44

They came off a 78.

I personally like the 17" wheel look on 928, bumpy *** roads around here as well.

I also like the look of the speedlines, I was very lucky to find them. They are the versions made in Italy.

I'm going to refinish them in gloss black with a polished lip.

Did they ever make an 18" of this wheel?

Exactly, my car is fine if I don't push it hard, but it will rub every time when it gets loaded up in a corner. I've got 295's out back and they aren't a problem. It's the fronts for sure.
