I don't know if this is recent news or of interest, but Tamiya has re-released their 928S model. It was originally released in 1981.

And on Ebay:

Update: Actually, it looks like this is a brand new re-release. Tower Hobbies lists it as pending, but not in stock yet.

I bought that model 30 years ago. It was a good model but not excellent. I gave it away a few years ago to my neighbor's kid and I had since regretted. I am hoping Autoarts would make a 928S so I don't need to buy this again, paint and assemble it.

During my teens, one of my neighbors' boys got a such kit. He put it together with great pride, and showed it to me when it was done. As I held it in my hand and turned it upside down, I wondered why the underside was painted in skin color.
I asked him about it, and he said the instructions said it should be "body color". He didn't know at the time that the English word "body" is not limited to the human body...
BTW: I don't currently plan on offering these kits in my store.

I have one of the original ones unbuilt back in the UK. There was a slight damage to one of the pieces- seem to remember a crack in the A pillar.

I hope to get the re-released Tamiya 928S model. I have OB's and S4/GT models now.
