I've been driving the 928 and my E46 sedan back to back. The E46 will remain my dd.

I'm making a members for-sale ad, and a couple R-listers have expressed interest in the car. This is a nice example that still needs some sorting however.

Looking good Kie!!! Someone will end up with a neat car there!

BTW, my experience dealing with Kie on BLU82 was nothing short of amazing! If all car salesmen (used or new) were like Kie you would be HONORED to be compared to one! He is truly a class act!

Yeah, but to THIS peep, it is the quintessential collector's superbike. Who could afford or was willing to sell a couple of kids to buy a $16k Honda 750 in the late 80's? I could only dream then. I have 2 MC28s and a MC21 titled and registered in California. Nothing compared to yours.
You got fine tastes.

Leif Johnson of Autowerks Northwest just completed a ppi for a nice guy in NJ that I found on Pelican. No surprises (I did in fact miss the fact that the sunroof was slightly out of adjustment) so after some intense negotiations (not really) the car is sold.

Leif is the same tech that got Blue 82 roadworthy for me... he knows his way 'round a 928. The new owner is having him address some of the issues (oil pan, mm's, etc) before it gets on a truck for 'jersey.

Maybe new guy will say hello. Bye bye 928.

That is funny. Quick change from a enthusiast/ower to enthusiast/seller thread.

Alright by me tho. Nice car, nice dude, nice thread. Good intentions.

Congrats Kie on finding a good home for this beauty. Don't be a stranger!

Default introduction

Heh, I just stumbled onto this thread...

Thanks for the kind words Kie!

I'm the guy who purchased Kiesan's 928. I have a 1979 911SC Targa that I've owned for 13 years. Like many of you, I've also always wanted a 928 and finally got serious about getting one a few months ago.

My wife thinks I'm nuts for buying a car without driving it first, but hey, you only live once. Plus, I didn't find any dirt on Kie or Leif, and I felt comfortable dealing with both of them. Both Kie and Leif are a pleasure to work with.

I can't wait to get my hands on the car. The next step is to arrange for transport from Washington to NJ.

Nice car, nice purchase,
best bet drive the car home thats what its made for,
you take more chance for damage to occur with a shipping outfit..
Drive it home, you will then have great memories of a road trip

Hugo the pleasure was mine, thanks man. I think you got a really good example, I hope you are happy with it.

Was my friend Jay able to quote you for shipping? I like dealing with him since he is a one-man show. After it goes in his enclosed trailer it does not come out until he's at your house. And no one else touches it.
