Default Back in the 928 world

My phone rang the other day with the classic line "I know a guy who knows who knows a guy who..." etc. This resulted in my arriving at a nice retired gentleman's house earlier this afternoon. After some pleasantries were exchanged I got to relive 1984 (year of my hs graduation by the way) all the way home on Interstate 90.

Thanks James pcar928fan with the help on the phone! This one is a gem.

'84 928S with 72k on the clock. No hits or paintwork ever. Stunning interior. Straight as straight can be exterior however the guards red is just starting to go off in a couple areas. I'm confident a pro detailer can bring it back.

A stack of service records that we all like to see. Mainly taken to Squire's here in the Seattle area as well as the dealer, Barrier. Just had t-belt/wp 500 miles ago in August/2011.

This car is a strong contender to replace my '03 E46 4-dr sedan as my dd. I don't have to ask what you guys would do

That's an awesome find, Kiesan!

Thank god it doesn't have a Rogerbox, or we'd see it in a garage in Austin pretty soon...

Entirely possible. I get to have fun replacing hood/hatch struts, polishing paint and, well, thats about it, first though yes?

Its either this car of my boring but trusty e46 that sticks around. I like keeping the miles off my 987/3.4 franken car.

Maybe Ross will ride his GSX-R750 back to Seattle from Florida and trade me?

Love it.

Red sports car, Viagra, Michael Bolton tape and $10.

Talk about cliche.

Someone else who understands just how funny this is!

The dead 987 I bought last year and resurrected had the same meds in the center console lol.

The long shifter seems "right" in the picture.

Fantastic find, Kie. Again!

You were the only person I called for help James... thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

The guy thought for sure it would have a dead battery after sitting since August but she lit right up. I was prepared to flatbed it outta there but I ended up driving the beast and leaving my beamer there. I got a ride the 30 miles back a couple hours later.

All in all a good day!
