928 Woman in action... ;) WAS: What are you doing in 2012?
I am pleased to announce that if you have plans for 2012, we can help…. And even if you don't have any plans for 2012 yet, we can help with that too
You might ask: "How can we help?"
Today, I'm pleased to announce that Project Rennwish, Inc. (a 501c3 Corporation) and the Women of Rennwish/Rennlist (WOR) are taking pre-production orders for the 2012 calendar! If you donate $25 dollars (well, or more ) to Project Rennwish (http://rennwish.org), you will receive your own 2012 WOR calendar to help you stay on top of all your dates in 2012.
You can read more here: http://rennwish.org - and simply click on the opening page image…. You can also see us on "Facebook" at http://www.facebook.com/ProjectRennwish (and feel free to "like" that page )
So, BRIEFLY - here are the details (as through the years - I've learned no one really reads my longer posts, as I write a lot )
This year's goal is to raise $65,000. No kidding. If we meet that goal, we will be building yet another school in a village of 1,700+ residents and about 300 children in the local area. Today, there is no school in this poverty stricken region, so, with you and your support - I'd like to change that.
Further, the cost of the printing is being offset by an anonymous donor. As well, since no one affiliated with Rennwish takes a salary, 100% of your donation goes directly to the School fund. Further, if you are in the USA, you will receive a receipt in the full amount of your donation. Also, to note, the printer we've selected this year is actually DONATING much of the printing cost & expense, thus ensuring again - that we have a better chance of reaching that $65,000 goal.
And finally - I want to thank all the Women this year for their incredible support, photographs - and several hired professional photographers to make this year's edition of the calendar the single best to date.
Also, I'm reserving the second post in this thread - to keep everyone updated on where we stand for this year's fund drive - and as an "announcement block" for any news…
On behalf of the 1,700+ kids Project Rennwish has been involved with in our programs through the years…
Simply,
Thank you…... All of you, for your years of support and reading my long posts...

Hi Malcolm.!
Yes, you bet - BUT - I don't know what they might recognize as a deductible? You see - I am a 5013C in the USA, so anything over a $25 donation will have a receipt for tax purposes in the US..? In Canada, honestly - I'm not sure what or how all that works - but, yes - you will have a receipt from me (actually Project Rennwish ) for the US $ contribution after conversion..
But again - I'm not sure how it is applied to Canadian taxes..?
Hope this helps!!

thx John.......Ive no idea what a 5013C is but sure there should be an equivalent.
Is distribution done in respective countries? We did Canada 3 years ago with the previous organisation but wasnt sure how the costs weighed against logistics and the US shipping location.

Hi Malcolm!
I'm not sure if I'm reading your reply right, but here goes
A 501c3 in the USA is a recognized non profit, so any contributions are tax deductible. Any donation of $25 or more, in US $, will receive a receipt for their donation, which, in the USA, is tax deductible.
Again, I'm not sure how all this works in the North :-)
Hope this helps, but I'm not sure it does?
My best and my thanks!

Just deserves a bump. This is one of the only charities I'm willing to donate to because 100% goes to what John says it does. Very worthy cause and JD and crew are fantastic people.
