wow, wouldn't think I'd prefer the dark brown but the cork interior makes it pop! And to be a 5spd as well. Seems only right it should have the orig. wheels back on it, though I do like the twists(on our '91).

Here's a '79 dark blue with the cork interior that looks about as pristine. This is one I'd love to have.

Here's pics of the sister of brown '79 #125, its #390. I posted a thread about it a few years ago. Here's link to the thread with details:
https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...al+Parts+Depot

Lighter brown exterior & more modern looking tan interior. It was in the private collection of the owner of National Parts Depot, only 7,300 miles on the clock! His son said that dad decided to start driving it & then parked his Ford GT. And this was about the only non USA made car in the collection! The car was locked so I couldn't get a good interior pic.

I'm liking this car A LOT.

In this color, it has to be stock. Looks like he has the phone dials too as one picture has them and others don't.

BTW, What's that little black thing sticking out of the space between the pod and the dash?

Incredibly beautiful.

I'm not jealous, because I just got a GT in great shape. BUT, this would have been the alternative.

(Depending of course how much it would go for...) I really wonder what it'll go for...

Nice car but the clincher for the sale is the "super wide 255 tires"!!

To have a car that nice and nearly original it SCREAMS phone dials. Its gotta have them on.

Also..why do so many sales people try to OVERSELL a car like this....let this pics sell itself.
. I mean'a come on'a this'a cars notta Italian.
Rich eye pleasing (Italian looking) tan leather interior
But..Im going to watch this one.

On another note, this car could be made 100% original with ease.
I see the most difficult being removing the black spray paint off all the undercarriage bits. And finding a rear muffler.
I sent an email asking for the reserve. No response, yet. I predict that the high bid will be about 12 to 15,000. I think the reserve will be closer to $20,000. Not too likely to sell, in my opinion. WTF do I know?

I estimate the high bid to be around 12k and expect the reserve to be between 18-20K

Just in the last 2 weeks, there was a very nice 78, 50,840 mile on on ebay last week. The high bid was $ 8600 and it did not sell, and the "Buy it Now" was $ 10,997. There was also a 79, 59,000 mile Euro with Pascha (redone) with only 59,000 miles that did not sell at $ 3750. Prices are all over the place. 77Tony
